Engagements
Four ways to work together, from a full-service programme to standing counsel. Every engagement is led personally — the person you meet is the person doing the work.

An affiliate network, not an agency
My strength isn't being the best specialist in one discipline — it's bringing the right disciplines together to solve complex business challenges. Specialists join per engagement under one accountable lead, and you always know who is doing the work.
Visual design
Brand systems, campaign art direction and production design.
Content creation
Editorial, photography, video and long-form thought leadership.
Digital marketing
Paid amplification, search and lifecycle campaigns.
AI advisory
Positioning for AI-driven search, and responsible internal adoption.
Before you enquire
Is this just PR?
No. Media relations is one instrument. The work is authority — clarity, credibility, proof, ideas, visibility and consistency — and some engagements never involve a journalist at all. What they share is making an organization genuinely easier to believe.
Do you only work fractionally?
No. Fractional is one option among several — many engagements are full-service, where the practice owns the whole communications function. The right structure depends on whether you need a department or a director.
What does "fractional" actually mean?
A set number of senior hours each month rather than a full-time hire or a project fee. You get a communications director's judgement on a retainer sized to your stage — and you can scale it up around a launch or funding announcement, then back down.
Who does the work?
Natalie leads every engagement. There is no account layer and no junior handoff. Where a programme needs more — visual design, content production, digital marketing, AI advisory — trusted affiliates are brought in under her direction, and you are always told who and why.
How long before we see coverage?
The first month is positioning, messaging and media mapping — the work that makes a pitch land. Placements typically begin in month two or three. Anyone promising faster is pitching before the story is ready.
Do you guarantee placements?
No, and neither should anyone else. Earned media is earned. What is guaranteed is the volume of senior effort, a clear reporting rhythm, and honesty about what a story can carry.
What size of organization is this for?
Companies scaling past the point where the founder can be the only spokesperson, and organizations that need senior counsel without a permanent department. Clients range across Canada and the United States, in consumer, hospitality, construction, energy, entertainment and non-profit.
How do engagements start?
A short call, then a written scope with hours, deliverables and a reporting cadence. Most engagements begin with a three-month initial term.
